I hope that you have been able to find meaningful connections through joining Human Rights Defence. It is a MUCH needed agency, and I have just joined today, although I have spoken on a teleconference with Dr. Nordlander a couple of years ago. The subject was the disenfranchisement of the disabled citizens in Alberta Canada, by the use of police to invade and intimidate the members of Handicapped Housing Society of Alberta in the society's meetings in 1997. The result is a system of silence and fear that has destroyed the role of the disabled in controlling their own housing.
Please read the article on what happened to the disabled in Alberta - a good publicly available source is the June 28, 2007 edition of EPOCH TIMES which is available on their website. The article is approximately "Society Accused of Intimidating Residents". If you could read this and reply, I will also.
