10 essays were sent out for reviewing. Each essay was reviewed by at least three reviewers and judged against six equally weighted criteria: Thematic focus, Skill in argumentation, Clarity of ideas, Originality, Precision and Style in writing, and Grace of expression. For each criterion there is an associated scale from 0 to 10. Each essay’s review score was calculated as follows; the average of the six equally weighted criteria for each reviewer was calculated; thereafter the average of the reviewers score was calculated. In addition to the score, each reviewer added a final comment to the author.

Happy you find the titles interesting. I have reviewed some and they are of very good quality.

We hope to put the firs essay on-line in the end or beginning of this week. The authors will get a couple of days to polish there essay before they are put on-line. When they get published there will appear on the first page.

Hi Swapneshwar,

we talked about showing ranking among the essays but voted against it. I have sent you an email with your ranking on each criteria as well as you final ranking.

I hope that is okay,

Tomas :cheer:

Yes Shoma,

all authors can do the changes on their computer and then (when ready) send them over.

After loggin in, you will find a Essay menu on the left hand side. After pressing on it, you will come to a page with the essays. To edit one essay you need to press on a small icon (shaped like a pen and paper) that is located on top of your essay title (most likely to the left).

Still, you are most welcome to do the changes either way.
